Who this policy applies to

EduGrow Vantage is a business name operated under ABN 37 472 628 899, based in Queensland, Australia. This policy applies to information collected through edugrowvantage.com, through the audit-conversation intake form, and through direct correspondence with the principal. It is bound by the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What information is collected

Three categories of personal information are collected, and only these three:

  • Contact information you submit — through the intake form or by email. This includes your name, role, institution, email address, and whatever you write in the "what isn't working" field. Nothing more is asked for at this stage.
  • Correspondence content — the substance of emails, calls, and scoping documents exchanged during and after the audit conversation. Where a client engagement follows, this expands to include the operational information required to run the work (access to advertising accounts, analytics, CRM data — always with your explicit authorisation and always kept to the minimum needed).
  • Website usage information — anonymised traffic data collected through standard web analytics (page views, referring source, general geographic region, browser type). Individual visitors are not identified. See "Cookies and analytics" below.

Why it is collected

Contact information and correspondence are collected for the sole purpose of responding to your enquiry, running the audit conversation, and — where a formal engagement follows — delivering the agreed work. Website usage information is collected to understand which pages are read and refined based on that reading.

Information is not collected for marketing to third parties, is not sold, and is not licensed or shared with data brokers under any circumstances.

How it is used and disclosed

The principal — Damien Torti — is the only person with routine access to enquiry information. Where a client engagement is under way, information may be shared with:

  • The client institution's nominated marketing team, as needed for the work
  • Advertising and analytics platforms the institution already uses (Google Ads, Meta Business, analytics tools) — always under the client's authorisation
  • Professional service providers — hosting, form processing, email delivery — bound by their own privacy obligations and named further down this page

Personal information is not disclosed to any other party without your consent, except where required by Australian law.

Where information is stored

Enquiry form submissions are processed through EngageBay — a customer relationship management platform — which stores contact details in an account controlled by EduGrow Vantage and forwards notifications to insights@edugrowvantage.com. EngageBay may store this information on servers located in the United States under their standard data processing terms. Correspondence beyond the initial enquiry is stored in standard commercial email and cloud-storage services (Google Workspace, hosted in the Asia-Pacific region under Google's standard data-residency arrangements). Website hosting is provided by Hostinger.

If you would prefer your correspondence be handled without any overseas storage, tell the principal at the point of first contact and an alternative can be arranged.

Cookies and analytics

This website loads EngageBay's tracking script on every page. That script sets cookies that let EngageBay identify returning visitors, match them to CRM records if they've previously submitted a form, and record which pages of this site they view. This information is used to prepare for the audit conversation — nothing more. It is not sold, shared, or used for advertising retargeting.

The site does not use Google Analytics, third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels from social platforms, or retargeting scripts. If you have your browser set to block third-party cookies, the site works normally — the EngageBay cookies will not set and no visitor tracking will occur.

To opt out of EngageBay tracking specifically, disable third-party cookies in your browser for this domain, or use a browser extension such as Privacy Badger or uBlock Origin. Opting out does not affect your ability to submit the intake form or communicate by email.

Data security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are taken to protect information — encrypted email in transit, multi-factor authentication on all administrative accounts, no personal information stored on local devices without encryption. No system is perfect, and no representation is made that these measures will withstand every possible threat. Notification will be made in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme if a breach occurs that meets that threshold.

Your rights

Under Australian Privacy Principles 12 and 13, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information EduGrow Vantage holds about you
  • Correct that information where it is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date
  • Request deletion where retention is no longer necessary for a stated purpose
  • Withdraw consent for any ongoing collection or use, at any time, without penalty

To exercise any of these rights, email insights@edugrowvantage.com. A response will be provided within 30 days, and in most cases within one working day.

Complaints

If you believe your personal information has been mishandled, the first step is to raise it directly with the principal at insights@edugrowvantage.com. Every complaint receives a written response.

If a complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may refer it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or by phone on 1300 363 992.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the underlying practices change — for example, if a new analytics tool is added or a new form-processing provider is used. Material changes are dated at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
